She never expected that a simple favor for her Aunt would turn into an epic journey. Using her wits and with your help you will have to solve the mystery of weakening magic.
The Dark Crystal
A powerful artifact crafted eons ago by a council of powerful wizards. The council decided that magic was dividing people and giving them too much power, twisting good men into greedy husks. The Crystal was meant to trap the magic inside forever, but those kings who gained the most from magic opposed the council. During the Battle for the Crystal kings managed to split the crystal into thousand pieces. The shards were lost and forgotten. Until now.
The Magical Realm
Scientists would probably call the Magical Realm a parallel dimension and would tell you that travelling there requires more power then is available in our entire galaxy. Luckily wizards are no scientists and they never heard of "parallel something" so they have no idea that it's impossible. They just open magical portals and zap - from Aunt's New York apartment to Mystical Forest in less than a breath!
