A crucial bug fix and plenty of balance tweaks come careening across the African countryside and onto hard drives!

Tri Synergy, Matrix Games (www.matrixgames.com) and GFI (www.gfi.su) are pleased to announce the release of a major first update for the turn-based tactical hit, Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge. The comprehensive update brings the game to version 1.07.001 and provides many gameplay tweaks and a fix to prevent the “vanishing squad” icon bug appearing in new games started with this updated version.

Specifically, camera restrictions were substantially reduced to provide much more zoom and pan freedom in tactical mode, the AI now throws grenades less frequently and less accurately, weapons and mercenaries are now more lethal overall, weapons and armor appear more frequently at the weapons store, and other tweaks to make the game easier and more balanced on the “Newbie” and “Mercenary” difficulties.
